A US gossip magazine has claimed that the real reason behind Kate Middleton's US visit was to that she could meet up with Princess Diana's secret daughter.
Massive story and bold claims - but there doesn't seem to be a shred of evidence to back up the bizarre claims splashed across the cover. Still, scandal sells right?
Globe magazine has alleged that Diana's secret daughter, called Sarah, is aged 33 and living in New England.
The apparent explanation for the existence of Sarah is that Diana underwent tests at 19 to test her fertility and that one of her eggs was fertilised with Prince Charles' sperm. Once successful, Diana was allowed to be engaged to Charles and the eggs were destroyed. Only a rogue doctor kept one behind which to plant into his own wife.
It sounds like the plot of a science fiction film but this is genuinely the theory doing the rounds.
This isn't the first time that US magazines have been a bit forward on Royal speculation - with some having prematurely announced the birth of Kate Middleton's second child.
