RABAT - U.S. star Jennifer "J.Lo" Lopez will be performing on May 29 in Rabat at the opening of Mawazine Music Festival, the most important musical event in Morocco, organizers announced on Friday.

The 14th Mawazine Festival, which will take place between May 29 and June 6, will host many stars like Pharrell Williams, Sean Paul, and Maroon 5.

The closing act of the festival has not yet been revealed.

Mawazine Festival, sponsored by King Mohamed VI of Morocco, has established a legacy of international superstars parading on stage and throughout Rabat, including names such as Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Ricky Martin, Shakira, Mariah Carey and Elton John.
