Lebanese star Marwan Khoury has finally spoken out about his feud with fellow Lebanese starlet Elissa.

The two were obviously at war during the recent Murex D'or awards ceremony in Beirut, after Marwan admitted that Elissa patronised him at the event. Meanwhile, an online war raged on between them and their fans on Twitter, according to Al Araby news.

It all started when Marwan did a rendition of Elissa's single "Law" (If), which the diva was clearly unhappy about. She then asked her fans to "attack Marwan for singing her song," according to the star.

Marwan retaliated by calling Elissa's fans "sheep," explaining that she controls them and orders them to do what she wants, reported Erem news.

And if you thought the Murex awards ceremony is what triggered the clash between the artists, then you're wrong! Marwan said that there has been tension between him and Elissa for years.

"We have been feuding for years, and I wish it had remained undercover. But these days, if you don't defend yourself, then they publicly humiliate you," Marwan told Erem news.
