On Sunday July 5th 2015, Princess Charlotte was baptized on the church of St Mary Magdalene Sandringham in Norfolk. A short but moving ceremony, was performed before Queen Elisabeth II and many members of the royal family and lasted a total of 30 minutes like that of baby Georges two years ago.
The Little sister of Georges was accompanied by her parents and she discovered the traditional ritual of baptism by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, before an assembly of Queen Elisabeth II, the duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, Camilia, and Carole and Micheal Middleton, Kate's parents.
Noting that Pippa and James the brother and sister of the duchess of Cambridge were present for the occasion instead of Prince harry who's in Africa. The five godparents of princess charlotte whose names were unveiled in earlier that day also attended the ceremony.
After the baptism Kate and William left the church as they arrived, walking. A walk with ease in the midst of hundreds of fans present for the occasion. Throughout the day, many have stamped impatiently waiting for the happy event. The lucky ones have the pleasure of seeing the face of the little princess Charlotte installed in a pram pushed by Princess Kate.
