Day after day, trash has become the number one topic in Lebanon, if not the whole world. Let's face it, every single country goes through crisis. Yet in Lebanon, it went a bit too far: Everybody is talking about garbage. You cannot miss a single update about it whether you walk through downtown Beirut, visit any community in the country, or simply sit back and watch the news. It's sarcastically amazing how Reporters describe the news through a different angle every single day!
However, as a part of COM FU, a digital and advertising agency, a group of youth decided to raise their creativity to a whole new level by setting up not a "Fashion", but "Trashion show*" entitled: Haute Zbouture that went viral as soon as it was released.
The young team tried this way to raise awareness about the number of garbage that's raising every single day. They designed trash bags as dresses and jackets, and modeled the collection in a sarcastic, yet painful way, to show the level we've hit.
Hopefully you will watch will make a difference and will incite authorities to take a step forward towards fixing this issue.
