UNITY, FRIENDSHIP, HEARTBREAK and PEACE are the subject of UAT's highly anticipated debut album, Jawhar Al Hayat.
Nina (Lebanon), Bachir (Tunisia) and Tarek (Saudi Arabia) bonded over their love of music, food, Instagram and Arabic culture! They recorded "Jawhar Al Hayat" in Beirut with the famous producers Diakar & Thomas X-Plosive.
The band's music explodes with an uninhibited, joyful exuberance; infectious pop songs, and EDM-driven club-bangers.
UAT released 4 singles off the album. The 1stsingle "Mashiha" in collaboration with the 3 artists on a summer jam, promoted this message: Leave your stress and enjoy life! It was the first time their fans actually heard their sound. The song received praise from major music sites like Bisara7a, Music Nation and Elfann. The video showcased the friendship the 3 have and gave fans some behind the scenes of the recording of the album.
2nd single was "Wled Al Ared" a song dedicated to the refugee children, sang by Bachir and Nina. The single was released during Ramadan with the aim to donate all proceeds from the single to the refugees. The music video was shot in a refugee camp in Lebanon and featured raw footage of the refugees at the camp.
The 3rd single was Nina's solo track "Bedoon Ay Hudood". The song was her way of expressing the need to break away from all the limitations and boundaries of our society.
The video of the song was shot in Beirut and received praise from her 1.5million fans on social media. "Bedoon Ay Hudood" entered Anghami's Top Arabic chart for the number of streams the week of its release and the video has half a million views on YouTube.
Nina did several media interviews and received wide spread coverage in the top magazines and online media of the region.
The 4th single released off "Jawhar Al Hayat" was Tarek's debut single "Dag Nazef".
Tarek addresses all those people who doubted him as a Hip-Hop artist in this rap single. The song was hailed by the Hip-Hop community in Saudi Arabia and the video accompanied the track was released 3 weeks ago and already has received an impressive number of views on UAT's official VEVO channel.
The new album will be released on October 16th on all digital platforms along with a physical album release. It will include 12 tracks and 2 bonus tracks on the iTunes version.
Virgin Megastore in Beirut, Opera Building, will be hosting a UAT album launch event featuring the lead singer Nina, on October 16th at 5pm! Fans will be invited for a meet and greet with Nina and can get a signed copy of the 'Jawhar Al Hayat' CD. All media are welcome to attend and conduct interviews with Nina regarding this new exciting project.
