Celine Dion's palatial Montreal-area home has finally been sold, La Presse reports.
Located on a private island off the shore of Laval, Quebec, the home sold for an undisclosed amount two years after it was first put up on the market.

"Yes, the home is sold, and that's all I can say out of respect for Ms. Dion," confirmed the singer's realtor Joseph Montanaro.
Sotheby's failed to disclose the final selling price of the home. It's initial listing price, however, was marked as $25.5 million, making it the most expensive property up for sale in the province of Quebec.
Featuring six bedrooms, nine baths, a wine cellar, an elevator and an outdoor pool, the 24,000 square foot home also boasts 830,000 square feet of island space.
With the passing of Dion's husband and brother, interest in the property, Montanaro revealed, had surged recently. "We received several offers these last few months," he added. "We sensed there was considerable interest in the property."
