L.I.P.S. Management (Lebanese & International Production & Services sarl), organizer of Lebanon's glamorous fashion week, "La Mode a Beyrouth (LMAB)", has partnered with Multi-Art, a Cairo based event management company, to launch the first edition of "La Mode a Beyrouth Cairo (LMAB Cairo)" in Egypt. A gala dinner was held at the Royal Maxim Palace Hotel- Kempinski in Cairo, on the 9th of February 2016, to cement the agreement between Mr. Johnny Fadlallah, CEO of L.I.P.S. and Mr. Ihab Mabrouk, CEO of Multi-Art.
Due to the immense success of LMAB's first edition in November 2015, L.I.P.S. received several partnership offers from various countries in the region, with LMAB Cairo being the first franchise protocol to be signed. During the announcement, Multi-Art explained its vision for the first edition of LMAB Cairo, which will be the biggest fashion week event to take place in Egypt, in the presence of numerous celebrities, fashion magazines, national newspapers, TV Channels and Egyptian designers.
Ms. Samantha Fadlallah, Project Manager at L.I.P.S, said: "La Mode a Beyrouth" will help demonstrate once again that the Middle East harbors plenty of fashion pearls just waiting to be discovered. The event is estimated to attract more than 6000 visitors throughout the whole week, placing our countries on the international fashion map and boosting the local economies." She added: "It is an opportunity for the local and international press, as well as anyone-who's-anyone in the fashion industry, to expand their networks and have the first look at the 2016 trends in the region."
Multi-Art will host the first edition of LMAB Cairo in November 2016, exposing Egypt to the international fashion scene. Mrs. Haifa Flitti, Project Manager at Multi-Art, said: "We are very excited to have the opportunity to launch LMAB in Cairo. This initiative will enable leading Egyptian designers to showcase their latest collections, which will enhance their brand image and that of their mother country, allowing them to penetrate worldwide fashion platforms from Egypt itself, instead of travelling to foreign countries." She continued: "In addition, emerging young Egyptian designers will also be able to participate through the "Cairo Young Fashion Designers Competition (CYFDC)", which will be an integral part of every LMAB Cairo edition."
This partnership demonstrates the significant impact and buzz that the first edition of LMAB created in 2015, setting a regional ripple effect. In parallel to working on regional partnerships, L.I.P.S is organizing the second edition of LMAB in Lebanon, which will take place in April 2016.
