Prince has been found dead at his Paisley Park recording studio in Minnesota after he was in hospital last week for a flu emergency.
Prince's cause of death is not yet known, but last week he was rushed to hospital apparently recovering from a bout of flu that had forced his private jet to make an emergency landing in Illinois.
Buildings, newspaper front pages and websites across the US and beyond have changed colour in his honour.
