Mila Kunis, Jessica Alba, Britney Spears wear Lebanese designers to Billboard Music Awards

    24 may 2016

It's one of the hottest music events of the year.

So the stars pulled out all the stops to bring some seriously sexy glamour to the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.

Leading the way was Ciara, Britney Spears, Mila Kunis and Kate Beckinsale who made sure to stand out on the red carpet in revealing and slinky ensembles.

While the ceremony made room for some of the biggest names in entertainment including Madonna and Rihanna, Ciara certainly stole the spotlight as soon as she arrived at the Las Vegas venue.

Showing off oodles of flesh in a silver gown which left little to the imagination, the statuesque beauty knew exactly how to cause a stir. The 30-year-old star looked incredible in the slinky metallic number by Philipp Plein. She showed off a hint of tantalizing side-boob and wore her brunette locks in a chic up'do with blunt fringe.

A sexy thigh-high slit showed off her long legs and she added the finishing touch with some silver ankle-strap stilettos. The beauty, who is engaged to NFL star Russell Wilson, was joined by her beau on the pink hued carpet. It was a perfect look for the songstress as she was hosting the show at T-Mobile Arena alongside Ludacris.

Britney Spears, who performed a medley of her hits at the event, made sure all eyes were on her as she arrived in a black lace bodysuit by Reem Acra and mesh thigh-high boots.

The 34-year-old star looked absolutely amazing as she showed off her toned and tan legs. Her long blonde locks fell in thick tousled waves and she sported smokey eyes and nude lippy. The Toxic hitmaker accepted the Millennium Award during the evening.

Mila, 32, showed off her legs in a beaded Zuhair Murad dress which she teamed with metallic heels.

The wife of Ashton Kutcher wore her raven locks pinned up in a neat bun.

British beauty Beckinsale, 42, simply stunned in a white Hamel gown with plunging neckline and ornate straps on the back and around her shoulders. She wore her chocolate brown tresses in a messy updo and she accessorized with diamond cuff earrings for a trendy touch.

Meanwhile Ariana Grande flattered her figure in a black and blue graphic print gown by Versace with plenty of sexy cut-outs. She wore her brunette tresses in her signature high ponytail.

Channeling eighties vibes was Rihanna who rocked a vintage button-up Thierry Mugler dress with shoulder pads. The the frock showed off her slender pins and she teamed it with Manolo Blahnik shoes.

Actress and singer Zendaya stunned in a peach two-piece gown while wearing her brunette locks poker straight.

Celebs gathered on Sunday night at the T-Mobile Arena to toast another year in chart-topping music as they were honoured by Billboard's magazine and music popularity chart.

The Weeknd topped the list of nominees at this year's award show with nods in 16 categories. He was up for awards including Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top R&B Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album and Top R&B Album. The singer - whose real name is Abel Tesfaye - also has three tracks in the Top R&B song shortlist category and has been nominated twice for Top Hot 100 Song.

Justin Bieber has been nominated 12 times in 11 categories, Drake and Fetty Wap have received 11 nods each in 10 categories, while Taylor Swift and Adele are both finalists for eight awards.

David Bowie, who died in January, received a posthumous nomination for his final album Blackstar.

He will compete against Coldplay's A Head Full Of Dreams, Mumford & Sons' Wilder Mind, Alabama Shakes' Sound & Colour and twenty one pilots' Blurryface for Top Rock Album.

One Direction - who are currently on an indefinite hiatus - have received only two nods; Best Group/Duo and Best Touring Act, with their album Made in the AM, failing to pick up any nominations.

Meanwhile, the Material Girl paid tribute to The Purple One with a live performance at the Billboard Music Awards.

Prince was found dead on April 21 in his suburban Minneapolis home at age 57. And Madonna continued the train of celebrity homages to the beloved musician.

Prince performed at the 2013 Billboard Awards, where he received the icon award.
