THE family of former France president Jacques Chirac has denied he has died – despite a top politician claiming he had passed away.
Christine Boutin, of French Christian Democratic Party, said Chirac, 83, has passed away.
On her Twitter feed, she wrote "Mort de #Chirac", which translates to "Death of Chirac".
Chirac, who was president of France between 1995 and 2007, was rushed to hospital over the weekend with a lung infection.
His death has yet to be officially confirmed.[dailystar]
