Former Miss USA Rima Fakih announced she was pregnant on the front cover of Marie Claire Arabia.
Fakih, 31, a former Dearborn resident, tied the knot in Lebanon in May to music producer Wassim Salibi, 35.
Salibi is the manager of Grammy award winning R&B singer The Weeknd.
Fakih made history in 2010 when she became the first Arab American Muslim woman to be crowned Miss USA. The owner of the pageant was Donald Trump.
Fakih was born in Lebanon and would later move to New York City with her family. She resided in Dearborn for several years, where she attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
In 2009, she submitted her name in the Miss Michigan pageant and went on to win the national crown.
Fakih caused some controversy earlier this year when she converted to Christianity prior to her marriage to Salibi.
The couple currently resides in L.A.[arabamericannews]
