Melhem Barakat's Last Wish
Today, he is in a critical condition - last stages of cancer battling for his life at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Actually, there are grave rumors that he has already passed away. We are hoping that this is not true. He needs all the support and prayers of his fans and loved ones.
Kfarshima - Lebanon shaped one of Lebanon's loved singers. MelhemBarakat was born in 1945 and blossomed since his school days and started his career since the 1960s. He is a public Lebanese singer, songwriter, and melodist known and loved by us all. He has participated as an actor and singer in many of the Rahbani Brothers' musicals and operettas; some Lebanese even saying that he established himself as one of the strongest voices in the country.
