Sevag Babikian is a Lebanese-Armenian inventor who is a mechatronics and robotics instructor at AUB. He has participated in the latest season of the show Stars of Science. After 3 months of hard work, Sevag has made it to the finals among 3 other contestants.
In the Stars of Science competition, Sevag showcased a revolution in creating a highly efficient desktop 3D printer called Modifix.It has the potential to make 3D printing technology accessible to every household. While 3D printing is not a new technology, Sevag's work is the only substantial innovation that was done in the field in the past 5 years.For that he received the highest grades by the judges of the show, and public voting will determine the winner.
