The star reportedly wants to adopt a trans child according to Yahoo.com.
Since the release of her memoir The Secrets of My Life, Caitlyn Jenner has been the subject of a lot of controversy.
In the novel, she repeatedly slams Kris Jenner claiming she knew about her gender identity struggles for years.
These accusations against Kris have reportedly pushed youngest daughters Kendall and Kylie further away from Caitlyn.
Now, to perhaps fill that void, Caitlyn is planning to adopt a transgender child, reports NW magazine.
A source told the publication: “She knows it’s so hard for the ones in the system to get adopted – people just don’t understand them.”
The 67-year-old admitted in her book that she wasn’t always the best parent due to her own struggles and feels by adopting it could be a way to redeem herself, the magazine reports.
“Cait would love to experience motherhood…to raise a child as her true, authentic self,” the source continued.
The reality star will reportedly start out with fostering to see how everything goes.
Caitlyn recently admitted in an interview with The Today Show that she has “kept her distance” from the Kardashian clan.
