Al diyar Magazine talked about the Council of Ministers' new idea to build an underground highway from Dbayeh to Jbeil!
The highway will be equipped with air-refreshing machines and a professional lighting system. The project will take 4 years to be fully executed and will cost 3.5 Billion Dollars!
The idea of an underground highway came up when the Council of Ministers found out that increasing the width of the current highway will cost way more because the acquisitions of the adjacent land will cost the government 8 Billion Dollars!
And therefore building a new underground highway linking Dbayeh to Jbeil will be a cost effective solution !
