"I wouldn't take back a single one."
If there's one thing more polarizing than Justin Bieber's music, it's his sprawling body art.
Bieber showed off his plethora of tattoos in a recent Instagram photo, including a lion and a bear emblazoned on his chest, an eagle over his stomach, and the word "purpose" over his belly button. In the caption, the Canadian pop star explained that these tattoos, and the others you can't see, add up to more than 100 hours in the tattoo chair.
He wrote in the caption [sic]:
"If tattooed didn't hurt everyone would have them. Well maybe not very one!! Over a hundred hours of hart work on my body and I wouldn't take back a single one.. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ART AND IVE MAde my body a canvas and it's SO MUCH FUN."

Many of those new tattoos, People reported, are thanks to New York tattoo artist Keith "Bang Bang" McCurdy. The pair documented their body ink collaboration in October, when Bieber cancelled a concert performance to get tattooed by McCurdy.
It was then that Bieber and McCurdy mapped out the base for what would become Bieber’s new multi-layer tattoo look. According to McCurdy, it could only be done thanks to the trust between the two.
"Thank you for the trust," McCurdy wrote in an Instagram post. "26 hours over 3 consecutive days is the most I've ever tattooed anyone in my 13 year career. You're tough as nails man!"
