During her mission to complete the "7 Summits", Joyce Azzam made it to the Mount Everest Base Camp and then she climbed the "Lebouche Peak". The mountaineer raised the Lebanese flag signed by his Excellency The President of the Lebanese Republic General Michel Aoun.
Joyce Azzam is a Lebanese conservative architect, so in her opinion, being a mountaineer helps her conserve and protect the cultural and natural heritage. Her dream is to be the number one Lebanese mountaineer to climb the Mount Everest in 2019.
She says she wants to be the first Lebanese woman to brake all the traditions and become an example for each girl seeing her achieving and climbing these mountains.
